I am a 17-handicapper and played early on a Sunday a.m. after staying the previous night at the attached hotel.
Overall I would describe this as an average course - the best holes are the first short hole (4th?), the 11th (a long downhill par 5, with the green across a green) and the 12th (cheeky dogleg).
Overall I played just about to handicap, but feel I could have done a lot better - it is not a particularly difficult course.
If I was in the area again I would not rule out playing the course again, but probably wouldn't rush back.
PS The attached hotel was OK, with odd quirks - e.g. a TV in each bathroom (ours didn't work) and a jacuzzi in the pool area with a very hot temperature.

15 of us played Bryn Meadows recently - excellent course in very good condition. We were made very welcome by both Bruce Hunter the professional and the catering staff. Excellent value for money. Can't recommend it highly enough.
