Played 08.08.2006. Warm welcome from Pro shop a clubhouse staff. Played on a sunny day which made it all the more enjoyable.Quite easy walking and on our particular day it was probably the least populated course we have ever played! Some good and varied holes. Only had a drink and breakfast in the clubhouse but both were good.Outstanding value for money at £21.00 per round. A good course that would be enjoyed by all levels of golfers.

Get you booking in early. Builth is a very popular course with visiting parties from south Wales...joining the queue at the first tee with great regularity. The course is full of challenges, though distance is not one of them. Rivers, trees, and handkerchief greens dot the card. Hard luck if you have a slice...You will not have a happy time. Fairways are quite good, the rough is not too intrusive...the greens are excellent. Locals are so friendly. Why not ask one to play with you. Changing and showering is in excellent facilities...drinking takes place in a 17th century Welsh Longhouse..it is charming. I wish I could say the same about the catering.
You will enjoy your round at Builth..It is a delight.
