Played this course in 30 degrees of Sunshine and the views available on such a day are spectacular. Don't let the views distract from the course however, as it provides a stiff challenge. The par 3's offer a great chance for a score but the par 5's are extremely well protected. Small but interesting greens finish of an excellent package. Everyone we met there was very friendly as well and we will definately be returning.

We played this course on a society day in June 2005. You will struggle to find a friendlier or more helpful club. The course is excellent and good for all standards. Both the low and high handicapers enjoyed the challenge. They will admit that the greens are a little slow, but this will not spoil your day. If you are having a bad day with your golf when playing Cradoc, don't worry the walk and the breath taking views will be enough. My advice is go play this course you will enjoy it and anyone organising any society days or a tour in the area, include it.

Played the course in June which was excellent. Very friendly pro shop and an interesting, if hilly course. Spectacular views of the Brecon Beacons, some minor water features - 9th is good fun.

Lovely course, in excellent condition when we played it. Friendly atmosphere.

Played Cradoc at Easter 2003 with my 10 year old son. Very good condition for April. Interesting course, and a little hilly, so my son found it tiring: I found it flat compared to the courses in Norway. Nice views and very helpful pro.

We played Cradoc in mid-September and found it in excellent condition. The greens were superb and the rough less fierce than it has been, though the course is very lush and plays much longer than the yardage. The views can be superb and it is an excellent test of golf, if a little tiring because of steep climbs on the 7th and 10th. The catering is good and staff very friendly. Highly recommended.

A very nice course with generous fairways and mean rough, especially if it's wet. Short at 5923 yards from the yellows but the hills make some holes play longer.
Symon Moore (Norway) 07/06/99
Cradoc is very scenic and well worth a visit although probably not for the novice golfer. Most of the fairways give hanging or uphill lies and there are some very long Par 4's as well as a couple of 500yd Par 5's.
