I will not pretend that this is anywhere near a championship standard course, but never the less PLAY IT!! It is in good weather, a very demanding and quite difficult 9 hole course built on the side of a mountain!! It will test even the most experienced golfer and it is worth taking a few extra balls with you!! In bad weather, give it a miss as it can inflict much pain in even a low handicap golfer! FFestiniog is one of the wettest places in Europe and even a sunny day can turn to torrential rain in a very short time. But I thoroughly recommend it. I can't tell you anything about the clubhouse or staff as I have never, in the at least 10 times I've played the course found the clubhouse open.....
