Maesteg Golf Club Player Reports
B Evans (Wales) 21/12/06
I played my round at Maesteg with their current 2006 Club Champion,Nick Roberts who a pleasant partner to play with and excellent golfer. The course was in fine condition and the round was very enjoyably and a tough test. Even though we played off yellow boxes Nick went around in some ease only dropping one shot, and was an experience to watch. I however found the blustery winds and rolling fairways a more difficult challenge. I recommend this course to anyone.

CLUB HOUSE
A new club house has only recently been built, with an impressive foyer leading to the locker rooms, bar, toilets and lounge area.
COURSE
The course is a challenge to all levels of golfers, with rolling fairways, light and heavy rough and good scenery. Players will benefit from accuracy rather than length, with a good mixture of holes to use every club in your bag. On days the wind can be a factor on your score card with it blowing through the valley.
