Played this course last Saturady (03.06.2006) and really enjoyed it - I must say that the wonderful weather helped.
This is a mountain top course at the head of the valleys and consists of an inland links like front nine with several blind tee shots, and a more park-like back nine.
The views of the Brecon Beacons are tremendous with views of Pen-y-Fan from most holes. Highlights for me were the dramatic dog-leg par-4 4th hole with a blind tee shot from a raised tee across a valley, and the almost private par-3 17th with a dry-stone wall along the left and behind the green which has its own annex.
The pro-shop is very well stocked with all of the latest best gear at competitive prices.
I'll be back.

As a new player I was very concerned about my first round of golf. It may seem surprising to some, but most beginners will agree that a golf club can be a daunting place for the newcomer!
However, I was made feel welcome by both members and staff at the club. This club offers everything needed for both young and old, experienced and amature, male and female players.
The course is set in the Brecon Beacons and is great for both the armature and improving golfer. With breathtaking scenery and all kinds of nature to offer it makes for one hell of a game of golf.
There is a well stocked club shop and also a club pro on hand for all your golfing needs.
Well worth a visit!

A fine golf course with breath taking views of the beacons, as long as it's not cloudy!! The course is suited to both high and low handicappers with gently sloping greens.

The first scorecard shown should be YELLOW tees.
