A maturing course with many blind second shots to fast, tricky greens. The par 4 5th and par 3 14th are wonderful holes the former involving a long drive and a scary second over a deep tree filled valley to a raised green guarded by a steep bunker. The 14th sees you play back across the valley to a green which slopes away in all directions. The welcome at the club was tremendous despite our threeball mistakenly being booked to tee off in the middle of the ladies' scratch cup. Everyone we met at the club was cheerful and welcoming. Difficult to negotiate first time out but I'll definitely be going back to hopefully knock a few shots off my score. Three of us played for a tenner each thanks to a 2-fore-1 voucher, good value.
