Bangor is a sort of course you never forget. I am from Japan and I play my Golf there. The kind man in the shop is very helpful,Viv I think his name was. He let me play for discount because it was quiet. I am a 12 h`cap so this course was very tough for me, lots of bushes and small greens. This is the best looked after course I have ever played, the greens where much better than we have in Japan! ( I play at a Championship course too!!) I played this course in September, so it was starting to quieting down abit, but aparantly you will get no bother any time of the year to get a tee time.excellent. Please play this course it`s fun, tough, excellent, strange and well kept, plus the man in the shop will no doubt have a beer with you after the round, great atmosphere.

This course may be short but very challenging and some holes are very tough. The greens were good but small and some accurate iron shots are needed as well as straight drives to avoid the many gorse bushes. The views are spectacular and worth a visit alone!
For the reasonable price I recommend anyone planning to play in the area to pay a visit to Bangor as you will definitely enjoy it.

A great course. Lovely views, challenging holes, well kept greens. I played it on a very windy day, which made some holes very, very difficult. Also be prepared for some exercise, some of those holes are steep, watch the 13th. If you have a power caddy, you'll need it.

A fascinating course found high on the hill looking down over Bangor, the Menai Straights and up to Snowdon. The views are incredible, the holes are fascinating with good greens. Don't expect manicured tees and fairways but do expect a day you will always remember and recommend to your friends.
