St. Melyd Golf Club Player Reports
Paul Roberts (Wales) 22/06/03
I played a Daily Mail match here on the 17th of June 2003. We weren`t expecting much with it being a 9-hole course. How wrong we all were! This course is in fantastic condition! I am a Greenkeeper myself and I was amazed that I didn`t see one weed on the whole of the course. It`s not a tough test of Golf, but nevertherless very enjoyable to play. The greens were immaculate, the fairways flawless and the general course was amazingly well kept and neat. If your visiting the Prestatyn area and want an enjoyable competitive round of Golf with your mates, pop in to St Melyd, I think you will return again and again.

A nine hole course, with eighteen tees.\r\nBeautifully situated between sea and hills, with open views to Snowdonia and the sea.\r\nWhile the terrain is fairly gentle the course itself is a good test of golf. \r\nIt is kept in very good condition, and there is a continuous program of improvement.\r\nYou can be assured of a very pleasant welcome, and a good days golf.
