Tredegar and Rhymney Golf Club Player Reports

Played a two ball on tredegar and rhymney golf course saturday 26/05/07,as the course is built on a mountain it was very well laid out and the staff and fellow players seemed very friendly. Most of the greens were slightly elevated and were quite small, the only downside was that the pins had no flags and the sticks put in place were only a few feet high, making approaches to greens become guesswork. Also be prepared for some hilly climbs the wind was light but in windy conditions I"m sure this course will take alot out of you, still it was an experience and the views were breathtaking

Tredegar and Rhymney is a truly great day out for golfers of all ability, it is a very tough golf course with magnificent views and very impressive greens. The greens are rather small but take nothing away from them as they are well manicured. It is fantastic value for money at only £10 per round and as a 4 handicapper I challenge anybody to play to their handicap at the first go of asking!!
