Peterstone Lakes Golf Club Player Reports
Ian Thomas (England) 02/06/07
This is a pleasant flat parkland course, with lots of water. The fairways are generous, the rough forgiving and the greens receptive and well maintained; so the building of a good score beckons, but the water hazards on the closing holes and the tight out of bounds on the 18th provide ample opportunity to ruin a good round. An oddity of the course is that all the distance markers are in metres rather than yards which can make club selection tricky if you are unfamiliar with the course.

I played Peterstone lakes on a friday evening, having only payed £12 for the round i was extremely impressed by all aspects of this golf club. The weather was fine but the wind was very strong, (not so much of a problem as i play on a mountain course) all in all a very good test of golf and an excellent round. Will be back very soon to play another round.

Played Peterstone last weekend. It was a good test of golf due to strong winds on the day. Course was in fantastic shape and the clubhouse was very welcoming. The Indian buffet was awesome too.

Nice parkland course with fine true greens. Although not overly long it still gets tricky with all the well placed water hazards. Although 2 for 1 is not available on weekends it is still worth a visit for £30.

PLayed Peterstone for the first time at the end of July. The course was in excellent condition and has a good mix of holes. It is an easy course to walk with much wildlife to admire if your game isnt A1! Nice clubhouse with fiendly staff and good food. Having played most courses in the area (including the Celtic Manor) Peterstone ranks very favourably for value for money.
