The first hole is a comfortable par four. The second hole is called The Expletive, for very good reason - perhaps one of the tightest par threes you will ever play. The right hand side - three yards right of the tee and proceeding thereafter towards the pin - is out of bounds, and on the left hand approach the green is completely hidden by an embankment that juts right out onto the fairway. A real challenge. In fact the whole course is very tight, cramming nine holes of par three and fours into a small space so that you are often in real danger of trouble. The greens are kept in excellent condition and the whole course represents real value for money.
