Held a charity event here & it was very good. The course, after a very long dry spell, was in very good condition. Fairways good & greens excellent. It's a thinking mans course with a few short par fours but not necessarily reachable in one because of dog-legs & traps. A bit hilly at times but not rediculously so. Clubhouse & pro-shop has been extended a lot in the last couple of years offering a far greater range of facilities to visiters & members alike. Off course the clubhouse was very good as was the catering & the welcome second to none. I liked the course before this charity event, having travelled from Bristol to play there several times, I love it now! Highly recommended.

Simply brilliant. Visited between Christmas and New Year for the second year running and the quality of the course was second to none. Had to tee from mats, but fairways were beautifully maintained and the bunkers full of good soft sand. I'm used to playing boggy fairways and hardpan bunkers this time of year so this was a real treat. I play off 20 and the course provided a good variety of holes through woodland and open country. Stunning views. Members and staff very friendly and courteous. This is a 'must play' course for anyone in the area.
